- HOW WE DO IT:
- These participatory performances can last up to an hour, depending on the client’s specific needs. Our slogan, Drum as One, hints at our greater purpose, we essentially do team building. The sound of many drums pounding together is a unique way to stir up emotions, inspiring excitement and passion. This is a great way to create unity and harmony amongst team members, between employers and employees, and different departments; everyone joins the Tribe!

- WHY WE DO IT:
- We have found that this combination of interactive drumming and performance experience allows our usual diverse participants to ‘speak in the same voice’, a common challenge shared by companies across the world. The nature of organisations in 2016 is fragmented, each department works separately towards common objectives, usually only being a small part of the whole picture. With Drum As One, each member of the organisation works side by side to create something from start to finish, together. By creating this type of shared experience amongst team members, our Drum As One experience promotes cohesion, unity and a feeling of solidarity within any company. With many years of experience in uniting the diverse work forces of South Africa, we believe this concept is global; we understand the need to create a better sense of unity within organizations.

- HOW WE DO IT:
- We have designed a show for Private and Public and special events, combining powerful performance pieces with an interactive experience. By inviting guests to interact with the facilitator and musicians, we create a deep sense of engagement with the other guests, and the event itself.

• Full set up and removal of drums - WHY WE DO IT:
- The Djembe drum is possibly the most influential and basic of all the African drums, originally. It dates back to 500 A.D. The drum rhythm of the djembe is performed in the evening for most celebrations. Drums are almost always an accompaniment for any manner of ceremony – births, crops, and marriages – together with a ritual dance and song. The sound of many drums pounding together is also a necessary instalment to stir up emotions to inspire excitement and passion. This is a great way to create unity and harmony within a special event; everyone joins the Tribe!

- HOW WE DO IT:
- Our complete commitment to making a positive impact on our surrounding communities is played out in our School and Community program. We have designed an experience to inspire the youth of the United States, giving them opportunity to learn to play a djembe drum, while promoting the sense of community our African ancestors found in drumming. At the same time, we get to share an African cultural experience with students of all ages.
